Why bother with a blog?

Since B1 Creative was founded in 1997, our agency has adapted and evolved around trends in both technology and design. We now Skype our clients saving unnecessary hours travelling to meetings, and rather than making endless trips to the post office to send print outs, we can now deliver proofs via email. So what new change has 2016 brought to the B1 studio? We’ve decided to venture into the world of blogging, and here are some of the reasons why…

Share what we’re all about.

At B1, we pride ourselves on the personable relationship we have with our clients, and the human approach we take to the work that we do with them. But unless you know us, you won’t know us, will ya? Through our blog posts, we want to share our likes and dislikes with you, and let you in to what really goes on behind the studio doors. For example, did you know that we recently rescued a fashion mannequin who was destined for the rubbish tip?

B1definitionBy sharing these nuggets of information, as well as some more serious and intellectual opinions, both our existing and our potential clients will have an insight into who B1 Creative really are.

Show off our brains.

As well as being awesome, we want to show you that we know what we’re talking about at B1. The “Quick Questions” featured on the blog will hopefully prove that we can tell our UX from our UI, be it through a “How to…”, “When to…”, “Where to…” or “What to…” article.

Lending a helping hand.

And through these questions, we want to guide our readers too. Sometimes our clients come up against issues, or simply want to know why things are done a certain way. So as to help them better understand how to help themselves, we will hand pick these questions based off our recent experiences. Even if you are a future client of ours (and here’s hoping!), our topics will hopefully advise you as well, teaching you things you didn’t already know you needed to know. As well as providing all you readers with helpful tips, we want to keep you up-to-date on what’s going on in the design world. A controversial campaign, an important anniversary, or perhaps a brand new product, we’ll do our best to bring it to you by way of a blog post. Of course, in order to provide you with this information, we’ll have to get in the know too! By researching for the blog, we will be keeping ourselves on our toes, as well as improving our own creativity, analysis and writing skills.

Drive traffic to the website.

According to HubSpot survey, 60% of businesses who blog acquire more customers. How? By driving traffic to the blog, we will secretly also be hooking you in closer to our website and our portfolio too… Sneaky stuff, right? Here’s hoping you’ll be so blown away by our fantastic work that you’ll simply have to get in touch. Really, that’s a win-win situation all round.
